Description	:	Judy Lynn Sanderson was born April 1, 1950 in Rushville, NE, to Dale and Mary (Johnson) Sanderson. At the age of two she moved to Winner, SD where she resided until graduating from Winner High School in 1968. On June 1, 1968, Judy married Jim Nicolaisen in Winner, SD. It was then time for the city girl to move to the country and become a farm wife and mother. Read More	Judy Lynn Sanderson was born April 1, 1950 in Rushville, NE, to Dale and Mary (Johnson) Sanderson. At the age of two she moved to Winner, SD where she resided until graduating from Winner High School in 1968. On June 1, 1968, Judy married Jim Nicolaisen in Winner, SD. It was then time for the city girl to move to the country and become a farm wife and mother. This union lasted 42 years, and together, Judy and Jim raised two children: Stacy and Schuyler on the farm near Carter, SD. Judy may have been short in stature, but she was mighty and determined throughout her life staying as busy as any farm wife and mother can attest to. Judy was an active member of Carter Gospel Fellowship Church and was active in PEO, Southern Belles Cattle Women, was a founding member of the Christian Women's Club, past Extension Club, seamstress, card maker and sender and was present at many of Stacy and Sky's events. Oh, the many miles put on every Suburban she drove and the number of hours spent in the tractor! Judy went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on December 8, 2010. She is survived by her husband; her daughter and son; four granddaughters; two sisters-in-law; six nieces and nephews; an aunt and an uncle and many cousins and close friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter in infancy, Megan Ashley Kersten. Funeral services were held December 13, 2010 at Carter Gospel Fellowship in Carter, SD.
