Description	:	Julia Ann Sims Case, daughter of John and Catherine Hoover Sims, was born in Bradford County, PA. Her family moved to Ogle County, IL in 1838. On May 15, 1836, she married Daniel C. Hoover in Sheshequin, Bradford County, PA. They lived in Nichols, Tioga County, NY until they moved to Putnam County, IL with Daniel's brother, Henry Mann Hoover. Read More	Julia Ann Sims Case, daughter of John and Catherine Hoover Sims, was born in Bradford County, PA. Her family moved to Ogle County, IL in 1838. On May 15, 1836, she married Daniel C. Hoover in Sheshequin, Bradford County, PA. They lived in Nichols, Tioga County, NY until they moved to Putnam County, IL with Daniel's brother, Henry Mann Hoover. They didn't stay in Putnam County very long, choosing to move to Ogle County, IL to be near her family. They had one child, Charles Wesley Hoover. Daniel served in the Mexican War from 1846-1848 and he left Julia & Charles. In 1848, she married David C. Bosworth, and they had a son, Edward Clifford Bosworth. For unknown reasons, she put Edward up for adoption, and nothing more is known of her relationship with David. In the 1850 census, she is living alone in Bureau County, IL, and Charles is living with his grandparents, John & Catherine Sims. She then married Loyal Luther Case on March 20, 1852 in Rockford, IL. They had 5 children together before he left her a widow in 1862. She lived in Byron, Ogle County, IL most of her life and was listed as a nurse in the 1880 census. Some time around 1881, she moved to Des Moines, IA, and later to Brookings, SD where she died in 1893.
