Longstreth and Mary Anne Cameron and departed this life 12 August 1925, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.F. Fail at Little River, Kansas at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 25 days. Longstreth and Mary Anne Cameron and departed this life 12 August 1925, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.F. Fail at Little River, Kansas at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 25 days. When a child she, with her parents, moved from West Virginia to Iowa. She was united in marriage to I.G. Forney, 26 September 1868. To this union was born six children - three boys and three girls; Rolly and Fred of Great Falls, Cascade, Montana; Mrs. Chloe Jury of Plummer, Benewah, Idaho; Mrs. Mina Fail of Little River, Kansas; Mrs. Nellie Andrews of Langley, Kansas; Willis Forney preceded his mother to the better world, having died at Grand Junction, Mesa, Colorado, 11 February 1925. In 1878 she came with her husband and family to Kansas and settled on a farm near Langley where they resided until the fall of 1917, when they moved into Langley, where they resided until the husband's death, which occurred 06 January 1918. From there she moved to Little River in the fall of 1923 where she resided in her home until failing health made it necessary for her to live with her daughter, from 04 January 1925, until her death. She was a member of the Wesleyan church until she moved to Little River when she took her membership in the Christian church. Her life will always remain a precious memory to those who knew her. She is survived by the five children above named, twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, other relitives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at the M.E. church at Langley Saturday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by C.J. Saunders of the Christian church, assisted by J.E. Parks. Subject of sermon; II Timothy 4.6. The body was laid to rest by the side of her husband.
