Description	:	Julia Ruth Gandy Services for Mrs. Julia Ruth Gandy will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2006 at St. Clair Baptist Church with Reverend Ronnie Parks officiating. Graveside services will be held at approximately 4 p.m. (Thursday) in Drakes Fork Cemetery, Cravens, LA with Reverend Hardy Estes officiating, under the direction of Hixson Brothers. Pallbearers will be Murel V. White, Jr., Robert Allen White, O. W. "Jack" Gandy , III, Charles "Chas" Bass, Donald Corley and Kenneth Williams. Mrs. Gandy , 77, of Boyce died Tuesday, March 21, 2006 in her residence. She was a member of St. Clair Baptist Church where she was a member of WMU and taught Sunday School Class for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Randall Allen Gandy ; parents, Pred and Lena Johnson; brother Allie Johnson; sisters, Madge Poirrier, Blanche Corley. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, O. W. Gandy , Sr. of Boyce; son, Oscar Willard Gandy , Jr. and his wife, Jane of Bellwood, LA; daughters, Wilda Ruth White and her husband, Murel of Elmer, Donna Joan Bass and her husband, Harlis of Boyce; sister, Evelyn Ellias of Ball; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends may call Wednesday at St. Clair Baptist Church from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. until service time.
