His funeral service was at 10:30 AM, Monday, September 7th at St. John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. L. Scott Spiehs officiating. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery with military rites by the Hershman-Gordon American Legion Post #59. Julius J. Frank was born August 22, 1925, to Carl Otto and Elizabeth Julia (Cloeter) Frank at Wolsey. He grew up by Wolsey, and graduated from Wolsey High School in 1943. Julius farmed until entering the United States Army on May 4, 1945. He was honorably discharged in 1947 and returned to farming. On September 14, 1947, Julius married Neoma Lucille Liebnow at Wolsey. To this union, they were blessed with five children. Upon his retirement in 1987, Julius and Neoma then joined the "The Laborers for Christ" building mission churches across the United States. During his retirement, he spent many enjoyable hours with his wife: fishing, camping and sharing their gifts of fish with local shut-ins and others. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Neoma of Wolsey; two sons and their wives, James and Rhoda Frank of Austin, Minnesota, and Eugene and Yvonne Frank of Grand Island, Nebraska, two daughters and their husbands, Karen and Alan Albright of Watertown, and Elizabeth and Gregory Brower of Wolsey; nine grandchildren, Sean, Joseph (Melissa), Cody, and Kelli Frank, Ashley (Joshua) Kelley, Amy (Robert) Turner, Tony (Nicole) and Arlo (Chandra) Brower, and Frank Albright; five great grandchildren, Riley and Madelyn Frank, Aidan Brower, Jadie Turner and Katelyn Brower; two sisters-in-law, Viola Frank and Clara Frank; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Richard and Clarence; and his youngest daughter, Lois Ranae in October 2005.
