Description	:	OBITUARY: June M. Wilkinson, 81, of Beatrice, died Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the Beatrice Good Samaritan Center. She was born June 17, 1931 at Crab Orchard, NE. and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1948, She was married to David L. Wilkinson on Jan. 23, 1951 in Beatrice, Ne. She farmed with her husband until he passed away Mar. 15, 1970. She then worked at First National Bank for 21 years, retiring in 1993. June enjoyed traveling, bowling, collecting Precious Moments, pets, especially her dog, Whiskers. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their activities.... Larry Wilkinson and wife Corrine of Beatrice, NE.; sister in law Shirley Wilkinson of Waverly, Ne. nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Dena (Wehmer) Porter, husband David L. Wilkinson, brother and wife, Roy and Marcella Porter, Brothers in law Clarence Laug, Kenneth Thober and Martin Wilinson; grandson in law Heath Frink. Funeral services held Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Centenary United Methodist Church with Pastor Charles Spence officiating. Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Burchard, NE.
