Kock, son of Johann Kock and August [sic] Eichhorn was born at Stutthaf, Germany, Sept 13, 1878 and passed away at the St. Paul Hospital April 2nd, 1954 at the age of 75 years, 6 months and 19 days. He was baptized in infancy and confirmed into the Lutheran Church in Germany. He came to the United States in April 1905 and settled in the vicinity of Wolbach. Mr. Kock and Amelia Neotzelman were married in Germany October 6, 1901. To this union 11 children were born. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and 6 infant children. Surviving are his wife, Amelia, 2 sons, John G. at Caldwell, Idaho, Paul C. at Shelton, Washington; 3 daughters, Selma Allen, Mary Rother at Wolbach and Minnie Springer of Hastings, 25 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and 2 sisters; one at Topeka, Kansas and one in Germany, and many nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends. He was a kind and loving father and grandfather and uncle and a good friend to all that knew him. [...out-of-town attendees...]
