A very large attendance was present, and the floral offerings were profuse and beautiful. Mrs. Boelts passed away Wednesday forenoon of last week following injury in a car accident the previous Saturday. (Funeral details followed) Mrs. Kate Bruno Boelts, daughter of Henry and Clara Augusta Bruno, was born in Prairie Creek township, Merrick county, Nebraska, February 19, 1874, and died at the St. Francis hospital in Grand Island, Nebraska on February 24, 1943. On March 29, 1899, the deceased was married to Fred G. Boelts and to them were born Henry, Margaret, Irene, Edith, Helen, Roland and Hubert. Of these Henry, who died in early childhood, has preceded his mother in death. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Belle Fauquier of Chapman, Mrs. Mary Mueller and Mrs. Frances Shelton of Central City, Mrs. Nettie Reimel of Sacramento, California, and one brother, Thomas N. Gosnell of Denison, Iowa. Soon after their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Boelts settled on the farm in Midland township which has been her home until her death. Mr. Boelts died December 31, 1922. Mrs. Boelts was a devout Christian. In early life she united with the Baptists, but for many years she has been a valued member of the Methodist church in Archer.
