Read More	FORMER RESIDENT DIED AT DELMAR Mrs. Katharine A. Dize Passed Away Monday FINAL RITES HELD HERE WEDNESDAY Mrs. Katharine A. Dize, for many years a resident of this city, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nora Willey, in Delmar, on Monday morning of this week at approximately 11:00 clock, after an illness of several months. Mrs. Dize, who spent much of the early part of her life in this city, moving to Delmar about six years ago was seventy eight years of age and was the daughter of the late Isaac Riggin nd Delia Hurley Riggin, of Crisfield. She had long been a member of the Immanuel Methodist Church of this city and possessed a noble, Christian character. Her friends were legion and her death means the loss of one who was near and dear to their hearts. She is survived by her husband, Mr. George H. Dize, a daughter, Mrs. Willey, and a sister, Mrs. M. B. Brown of this city. Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock, from the home of her sister, Mrs. Brown. Officiating at he final rites was Rev. J. R. Bicking, Pastor of the Immanuel Methodist Church, who was assisted by the Rev. Sidney Bradley, of Delmar and the Rev. J. Yancey Fincher, pastor of the Baptist Temple. Interment was in the Crisfield cemetery. Pall-bearers were Nathaniel Dixon, Norval Dixon, Hilton Dize, Vernon Cartwright, C. C. Cartwright and Howard Riggin. The Crisfield Times, April 25, 1941 pg.1
