Description	:	Mrs Katherine Wilkey, a former well known State Center resident, died at 9:30 Wednesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs John Mohr in Marshalltown, of pulmonary tuberculosis. Mrs Wilkey, nee Fike, was a native of Washington county, Pennsylvania, and was 65 years old November 29 last. She married H S Wilkey, who died several years ago. Mrs Wilkey had lived in the county forty years. Mrs Wilkey is survived by three daughters, Miss Nora Wilkey and Mrs Mohr of Marshalltown and Mrs Bessie Monroe of St James, Minnesota. Her aged mother, Mrs Elizabeth Fike, lives in Marshalltown as does one sister, Mrs Lydia Richeson. Other sisters are Mrs Cathrin Vaugthrin of Beatty, Kansas, and Mrs Mary Triplett of Sutherland, and H H Fike of Libertyville, Illinois is a brother. Another sister, Mrs Anna Thayer, died in Marshalltown March 30, 1909. The funeral was held from the Mohr home Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev Frank Wheeler of Marion township, officiating. The body was brought here Sunday morning for interment in the Washington county cemetery. March 17, 1910 State Center Enterprise.
