She was born May 26, 1939 at Massilla, N.M., to George T. Arthur Adams and Wilma Ann (Munds) Adams. She was married to William Conover on Jan. 21, 1955 and to this union two children were born. William passed in 1961. She was married to Gerald Miller in 1962 and had five children. They moved to Climax, Kan., in 1964. William passed in 1961. She was married to Gerald Miller in 1962 and had five children. They moved to Climax, Kan., in 1964. Katherine received her GED and graduated from Dodge City Community College in 1987 as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and worked at various agencies. She moved back to El Dorado in 2002 where she lived until her death. She is survived by two sisters, Rosie Edmondson of Tennessee and Louise May of Texas; daughters, Lynn Conover and Deina (Miller) Rockhill of Eureka, Ann Miller of Hitchcock, Texas, and Dian Miller of Wichita; step daughter, Debi Thackeray of Eureka; sons, William Conover of Rolla, Mo., David Miller of Dodge City and Jon Miller of ElDorado; and step son, Jerry Miller of Eureka. She is preceded in death by brothers, Oscar Adams, Sonny Adams and Archie Adams; sister, Violet Adams; parents, George T. Adams and Wilma Ann (Monds) Adams; and both husbands. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Services will be at the graveside Friday at Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka at 1 p.m. Heritage Funeral of El Dorado was in charge of arrangements. Online Register available at www.heritageofandover.com.
