She moved to Jamestown where she worked for F.W. Woolworth company as a bookkeeper for 17 years. She married Ralph Whitcome February 12, 1934, at Aberdeen, South Dakota. They moved to Eldridge in 1944. He died in 1969. She married Robert McKeen February 5, 1974, in Jamestown. She worked for the Stutsman County Library and Bookmobile for three years. He died in 1980. She was a member of First Congregation Church, Jamestown, the American Association of Retired Persons, Happy Homes Homemakers Club and VFW Auxiliary. Survivors include three stepdaughters, Laverne Horsted, Jamestown, ND, Muriel Sinclair, Bend, OR, and Joann Beaque, Ely, MN; eight step-grandchildren, 13 step-great grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Flach, Spokane, WA; and a sister, Wilma Hendrickson.
