Description	:	Katherine Benner Mohr, 100, of Park City, passed away Aug.7, 2002, at Evergreen Laurel Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born at Walter, Russia, Nov. 10, 1901, a daughter of William and Anna Katherine Klippert Benner, Sr. When Katherine was 2, she and her parents entered the United States through Ellis Island. The family settled in Lincoln, Neb., and then moved to Park City in 1908. She attended Park City Schools and Billings Business College and then worked for Hart-Albin Co. She was born at Walter, Russia, Nov. 10, 1901, a daughter of William and Anna Katherine Klippert Benner, Sr. When Katherine was 2, she and her parents entered the United States through Ellis Island. The family settled in Lincoln, Neb., and then moved to Park City in 1908. She attended Park City Schools and Billings Business College and then worked for Hart-Albin Co. She married John Mohr Jr., Sept. 18, 1927, in Park City. The couple farmed west of Park City until they retired and moved into Park City. Katherine has resided at Evergreen Laurel for the past two and a half years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was a long time member of LWML. Survivors include four children, John W. (Betty) Mohr of Park City, Mary Ann (Duane)Guenthner of Laurel, Martin (Kathy) Mohr of Park City, Harold (Sharon) Mohr of Laurel;15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; one sister, Amelia Benner of Billings. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons; two brothers, Jacob Benner and William Benner Jr., and a sister, Margaret Sitzman. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Park City. Internment will be in Park City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to; St. Paul's Lutheran Church Building Fund or The Lutheran Hour Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel was in charge of arrangements.
