She married Joseph Wall on 11 June 1889 in McHenry county, Illinois. They were the parents of Florence and Joseph. Aug 15, 1892 - Carroll Sentinel - The funeral of Mrs. Joe Wall occurred yesterday and one of the largest processions of sympathizing friends followed the remains from the home in Grant township to the church that has been seen for a long time. Rev. Father O'Connor preached the sermon and performed the last sad rites at the grave. The sermon was short but very affective. Father O'Connor being deeply moved on the occasion. The death of Mrs. Wall is especially a sad one, two small children are left without the aid and influence of a mother and the fond husband is robbed of a loving wife. Mrs. Wall's death was probably due to quick consumption. It seems as if she had realized for some time that her days on earth were few, for last Fourth of July she asked her husband to hitch up the team and take her out to see something as that would be the last Fourth she would be with him. As she was well and hearty at the time the husband did not think much of it. She was taken sick shortly after this and never recovered. At times she was much better and every one thought she would soon be around again. A day or two before her death she took worse and failed rapidly until the Maker called the spirit home and freed it from its earthly pain. She was perfectly conscious up to the time dissolution took place and one of her last remarks were "that she could not go, for Joe would be so lonesome without her." The deceased was 30 years old, was born at McHenry, IL., and was married to Joe Wall three years ago last June. At the time of her death one of her sisters were present and Saturday morning two more arrived accompanied by their father Mr. Daugherty. Mr. Wall has the sympathy of the entire community in this hour of his deep sorrow and loving hands and tender hearts have done all that was possible to aid him to sustain the terrible blow.
