She enjoyed fishing, baking and embroidering dish towels and pillow cases for her grandchildren. She was born in Kautz, Russia, a daughter of George and Katherine Krum. She came to the United States at an early age to Lincoln, Neb., and moved to Ballantine, MT., in 1912. On Dec. 28, 1921, she married Henry Frank in Worden, MT., They farmed in Nibby, MT. for six years and then moved to a farm near Huntley, MT., where they farmed until 1958 when they retired and moved to Huntley. They made their home there until 1987, when ill health forced them to move to Huntington Beach to live with their daughter. Mr. Frank died Jan. 26, 1988. Survivors include two daughters, Hannah Wright of Huntington Beach and Mrs. Willis (Shirley) Hawkins of Cody, WY.; three brothers, Henry Krum of Billings, MT. and Jake Krumm and Herman Krumm both of Huntley; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bethlehem Congregational Church in Worden, MT. Burial will be in the Pleasantview Cemetery in Ballantine, MT. Smith's Downtown Chapel in charge.
