Mr. Frank, 92, died Tuesday afternoon of natural causes in the Pacific Hospital in Huntington Beach, CA., where he was visiting his daughter. He was born in Kautz, Russia, a son of George and Mary Frank. He came to the United States in 1903 and settled with his parents in Lincoln, NB., for a period of time. In 1910, the family homesteaded on the Huntley Project in the Ballantine, MT., area where he was raised, educated and worked on the irrigation system. On Dec. 28. 1921, he married Katherine Krum in Worden, MT. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Hannah Wright and Mrs. Willis (Shirley) Hawkins, both of Huntington Beach, CA.; two sisters, Elizabeth Wallace of Tacoma, WA., and Katherine Bangert of Laurel, MT.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Bethlehem Congregational Church in Worden. Burial will be in the Pleasantview Cemetery in Ballantine, MT. Smith Downtown Chapel is in charge.
