Wolfe, 72, of Loudonville died surrounded by her family on Wednesday afternoon, January 25, 2017 at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus following a short illness. Katherine was born Feb. 11, 1944 in Green Township, Ashland County and was the daughter of the late Richard and Martha (Doll) Frank. She was a 1962 graduate of Loudonville High School and had lived in the Loudonville-Perrysville area all of her life. Read More	LOUDONVILLE: Katherine L. Wolfe, 72, of Loudonville died surrounded by her family on Wednesday afternoon, January 25, 2017 at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus following a short illness. Katherine was born Feb. 11, 1944 in Green Township, Ashland County and was the daughter of the late Richard and Martha (Doll) Frank. She was a 1962 graduate of Loudonville High School and had lived in the Loudonville-Perrysville area all of her life. She was the Assistant Activities Director for 19 years with Colonial Manor Health Care Center and had previously worked at the Loudonville Rest Home. She was a life member of Trinity Community Church where she was active in the choir, the church council, the Ladies Guild, the community suppers, and was a Sunday school teacher. Katherine was also a member of the Big Run Homemakers Club, Ashland County Extension Homemakers, the Red Hat Society, and the Firelands Electric Cooperative Advisory Board. She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, canning, quilting, crocheting, traveling, and stopping at every garage and yard sale. On September 12, 1964 she married Robert L. Wolfe Sr., and he died March 10, 2004.She is survived by one daughter, Alisa (Bob) Frank of Danville; two sons: Gary Wolfe of Chillicothe and Adam Wolfe of Loudonville; three grandchildren: Rachel Nelson of Chillicothe, Elizabeth Frank of Kenmore, WA, and Jonna Wolfe of Chillicothe; two sisters: Ruth (Richard) Weaver of Loudonville and Laura Hecht of San Martin, CA; her companion, Harry Garber of Loudonville; and two brothers-in-law: John (Sandy) Wolfe and Jim (Jackie) Wolfe, both of Glenmont. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son, Robert Wolfe Jr., in 2001.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017 at 10:00 AM in Trinity Community Church, Loudonville conducted by Pastor John Temple. Burial will follow in Loudonville Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 4-7 PM in LINDSEY FUNERAL HOME, LOUDONVILLE.
