Description	:	Mrs. DeSloover Died Saturday At Hospital Funeral Services Tuesday at Lawler Church Mrs. Victor DeSloover, 63, who resided on a farm south of Lawler, died at 9 P. M. on Saturday, April 21st, in St. Joseph's hospital where she had been a patient for nine days. M. on Saturday, April 21st, in St. Joseph's hospital where she had been a patient for nine days. Funeral services were held at 9 A. M. Tuesday in the Mt. Carmel Church at Lawler with Rev. James F. Delay officiating. Interment was in the parish cemetery. Kathryn [sic] Linkenmeyer DeSloover, daughter of Valentine and Anna Hoffman Linkenmeyer, was born March 12, 1893, at North Washington. She attended the North Washington schools and later moved to Riceville. On February 10, 1920, she was married to Victor DeSloover at Riceville. They established their home on a farm near Riceville and later moved to the Lawler vicinity. Six children were born to this union. Surviving are her husband, four daughters, Mrs. Henry (Bernice) Langreck, Mrs. Clem (Verda) Langreck, Mrs. Francis (Kathryn) [sic] Langreck and Mrs. Ed (Betty) Tillman; two sons, Loyal and Bernard; two sisters, Carrie Linkenmeyer and Mrs. Agnes Wilkes; three brothers, Joe, Charles and Frank Linkenmeyer[,] and twenty-three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ben Linkenmeyer[,] and one sister, Mrs. Fred (Thresa) Bowen. New Hampton Economist, Tuesday, 24 April 1956
