Description	:	Verda Marie Langreck, 83, of Waucoma, died Saturday, Aug. 9, at St. Marys Hospital, Rochester, Minn. She was born June 1, 1925, in Riceville, daughter of Victor and Katherine Linkenmeyer DeSloover. On Aug. 8, 1944, she married Henry Bernard Langreck at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Lawler. Mrs. Langreck graduated from Lawler Public School in 1941, then attended Iowa State Teachers College, Cedar Falls. She taught in the Stapleton No. 4 School near Lawler. Survived by: her husband; four daughters, Sandra (Roger) Leibold of Fort Atkinson, Patricia (Gary) Atamian of Rochester, Pamela (Alfonso) Vasquez of West Union and Mary Ann (Marvin)... Survived by: her husband; four daughters, Sandra (Roger) Leibold of Fort Atkinson, Patricia (Gary) Atamian of Rochester, Pamela (Alfonso) Vasquez of West Union and Mary Ann (Marvin) Hackman of New Hampton; a son, Henry Jr. (Karla) of St. Lucas; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Katherine Langreck of Lawler and Betty (Herb) Tillman of Alpha. Preceded in death by: a son, Conrad; two brothers, Loyal and Bernard De Sloover; and a sister, Bernice Langreck Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Lawler, with burial in the church cemetery. Public visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the church, with a 4 p.m. rosary and a 5 p.m. parish Scripture service. Visitation also from 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Hugeback & Chenoweth Funeral Home, Lawler, is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left at hugebackfuneralhome.com.
