Description	:	HARPER - Katherine Mary Vogel, 82, formerly of Harper, died Tuesday afternoon at Alverno Nursing Home in Clinton where she had been a resident since suffering a stroke a year ago. Born Feb. 25, 1893 near Harper, she was the daughter of Frank and Katherine Lutz Vogel. She was employed for many years as a seamstress at Younkers in Iowa City. Hammes, Mrs. William Allar all of Sigourney, Mrs. Henry Hammen, Manson, and Mrs. Hugh Dehner of Clinton; two brothers Joe of Sigourney and Carl of Keota. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sigourney with the Rev. Francis Lollich officiating. Burial will be in the St. Peter and Paul Parish Cemetery near Clear Creek. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Reynolds Funeral Chapel in Sigourney.
