Beckler, daughter of George and Mary Matthews Shaw, was born Sept. 4, 1910, at Superior. She graduated from Superior High School with the Class of 1927. She was a bookkeeper at the Ford garage, Deshler. She was united in marriage to Milton Beckler, June 7, 1928. They lived in Deshler, and then moved to Denver, where she was an apartment house manager. They lived in Guide Rock for five years before moving to Superior in 1975. Beckler was a member of of (sic) Centennial Lutheran Church, Superior, and Superior Country Club. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Survivors include her son, Thomas Beckler, Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Nelson (Patricia), Billings, Mont.; a sister, Mrs. Fred Troudt (Helen), Superior; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
