Description	:	MUSCATINE, Iowa -- K. Ruth Eisner, 82, of Muscatine, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Unity Hospital. Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, 2107 Cedar St. The Rev. Leif Pohl will officiate. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Private burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church. Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church. Mrs. Eisner was born on July 22, 1919, in Muscatine County, the daughter of Bion H. and Mary Margurite Will Hitchcock. She married Louis E. Eisner on Aug. 2, 1942, at High Prairie Church in Muscatine County. She was a beautician for 33 years, retiring in 1968. She was a podiatrist assistant for 14 years for Henry C. Tack DDP. She was church school secretary for 11 years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and sang in the church choir for many years and was a charter member of the Bell Choir. She enjoyed counted cross-stitch and cooking. Survivors include her husband, Louis Eisner, of Muscatine; a daughter, Lois Elaine May and her husband, William R., of Madison, Wis.; a brother, Herbert 'Bud' Hitchcock of Muscatine; a sister, Fern VanZandt of Muscatine; and a sister-in-law, Arlene Hitchcock of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Stewart Hitchcock.
