Description	:	Kathleen Mae Flower, the daughter of Arthur and Laura (Rath)Gemar, was born on November 23, 1924 at Sutton, Nebraska. She passed away on January 7, 2006 at her home in Nelson, Nebraska at the age of 81 years, 1 month and 14 days.Kathleen attended teachers college at the Univ. of Nebraska at Lincoln and taught at an elementary school in North Platte for 8 years and later was a bookkeeper for several business in Lincoln and Valentine including the Liquor Control Commission until retiring in 1974. Read More	Kathleen Mae Flower, the daughter of Arthur and Laura (Rath)Gemar, was born on November 23, 1924 at Sutton, Nebraska. She was united in marriage to Winston Flower on May 15,1960 and to this union were born two sons. She began working at the Nuckolls County Sheriffs office in Nelson, Nebraska in 1988 and retired in 1996. She also was employed at the Sportsman Corner in Nelson. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Winston, and one brother Max Gemar. She is survived by her two sons; Michael Flower and wife Michelle of Corpus Christi, Texas and Patrick and wife Stacy of Concordia, Kansas. Four grandchildren, Anastasia Flower, Allison Flower, Ashley Flower and Kayla Tribble. She is also survived by on sister Jacqueline Storm of Arvada, Colorado along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Nelson Community United Church of Christ in Nelson, Nebraska with Rev. Dr. Stephen Berry officiating. Pallbearers were Scott Stemper, James Marr, Brad Baker, Cody Fierstein, Chuck Tuttle, and Gary Cline . Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery at Nelson, Nebraska. Memorials may go in care of the family. Klawitter-Price Funeral Home of Nelson, Nebraska was in charge of the arrangements.
