Peter Vanderlaan officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery with Wintz Mortuary in charge. Pallbearers were: Adrian and Owen Koenig, Jerome, Linus and John Lammers and Cletus Wieseler. Katherine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Becker, was born Decmeber 20, 1857 in Trier, Germany. She came to this county directly from Germany in 1866 and has since made Cedar county her home. She was married to Henry Lammers at St. Helena February 5, 1884. Mr. Lammers preceded her in death in December 1944. She is survived by three sons, Frank and Anton J. both of Hartington and John H. of Coleridge; six daughters, Mrs. Casper Koenig of Hartington, Mary Lammers of West Point, Cecilia Lammers of Hartington, Mrs. Anna Wieseler of Wynot and Clara Lammers of Hartington, twins, and Mrs. Art Schulte of Fordyce; two brothers, Peter Becker of Fordyce and Henry Becker of St. Helena; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Hoesing of Yankton; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A brother Mike Becker died the Tuesday morning following her death.
