Description	:	Again we mourn the loss of one of the pioneers of Burlingame. For more than fifty years Mrs. Reiser has made this place her home, but now she has gone to her eternal home. She was born at Cologne, Germany, November 24, 1851, and died at her home in Burlingame, February 24, 1926, in her 74th year. She came to America with her folks when she was only 3 years of age, and lived at Rock Island, Illinois, for about twenty years. For more than fifty years Mrs. Reiser has made this place her home, but now she has gone to her eternal home. She was born at Cologne, Germany, November 24, 1851, and died at her home in Burlingame, February 24, 1926, in her 74th year. She came to America with her folks when she was only 3 years of age, and lived at Rock Island, Illinois, for about twenty years. Then she came to Burlingame, Kansas, where, fifty-three years ago, she was married to Ehrenreich Reiser. Mr. Reiser died August 22, 1921. This home was blessed with three sons. William E., died as early as 1896. Leo J. of Kansas City, Missouri, and Frank C. of Burlingame, and also six grandchildren remain to comfort one another. Three sisters, Mrs. Clara Christenson, Mrs. Henry Odendahl, and Mrs. George Dorr, also two brothers Otto Godderz of Burlingame and Leo Godderz of Osage City and many other friends will miss the fellowship of Mrs. Reiser. Having sent her children to the Presbyterian Sunday School when they were young, four years ago she went a step farther and united with the church. She was a faithful attendant when her health would permit. Though not strong for many months, and though the last weeks, friends had to wait on her , now she has been released and gone to her rest. "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord" were the words of comfort and challenge which the pastor spoke at the funeral services held at her church at 2:30 Saturday afternoon.
