Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 1984, in the Walter Funeral Home in Anthon with Rev. John Oren officiating. Pallbearers were Vic Banta, Clair Clausen, Larry Clausen, Ben Dicus, Junior Dicus, and Thomas Hansen. Pallbearers were Vic Banta, Clair Clausen, Larry Clausen, Ben Dicus, Junior Dicus, and Thomas Hansen. Mrs. Zimmerman, the daughter of Peter and Theressa Stelling Clausen, was born September 9, 1910, in Rock Township near Correctionville. She married George Zimmerman June 25, 1930, in Anthon. They lived in the Anthon and Correctionville vicinity until 1955 when they moved to Sioux City. She worked at the Scandinavian Bakery in Sioux City for twelve years. Mr. Zimmerman died in 1972 and she returned to Anthon at that time. She was a member of Valley Rebekah Lodge #333 of Anthon. Survivors include two sons, Ronald of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Richard of Omaha, two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Peters and Mrs. Mabel Banta, both of Anthon, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, husband, two brothers, Walter Clausen and William Clausen, and four sisters, Fannie Louise Clausen (Mrs. Lawrence Hansen), Margaret "Maggie" Clausen (Mrs. Charles Viers), Julia Amanda Clausen (Mrs. James H. Dicus) and Alvena Clausen (Mrs. John Hammond.
