She was united in marriage to Forrest E. Ware on November 14, 1911. To this union four daughters were born, namely; Mrs. Ruth Swanson of Cherokee, Mrs. Roberta Kintigh of Webb, la., Jean Elaine and Marjorie Elizabeth at home, who with two grandchildren, Jean Elizabeth Swanson and Nancy Jo Kintigh, and her husband are left to mourn the departure of a loving wife and mother. Her parents and one brother, Otis, preceded her in death. Six brothers and five sisters survive. They are John, Robert, Charles, Samuel, Arthur, Montiford, Mrs. Emma Ware, Mrs. Margretta Loucks, Mrs. Letha Everett, all from Cherokee, Mrs. Elizabeth Whitney of Aurelia, and Mr. Ruby Beck of Sutherland. Many other relatives and friends remain to mourn the loss of a loved one whose departure has brought sorrow and loneliness to those who would not recall her to the patient suffering of the past eight months. Mrs. Ware was baptized into the Presbyterian faith of the Memorial Presbyterian church of Cherokee. Funeral services were conducted from the family home Tuesday 1:15 and at the Presbyterian church at 2:00, Rev. Peterson officiating. Pallbearers were Hugh Crippen, Arthur Phipps, James Graves, Leon Sanborn, Earl Kludas and Ellis Stieneke. The hymns, "Nearer My God to Thee" and "In the Garden," were beautifully rendered by Miss Fern Hahn and Mrs. Paul Stieneke. The many beautiful floral offerings were expressions of sympathy and high esteem which she held in her community. The body was laid to rest in Afton cemetery.
