Description	:	She was the daughter of James Williamson of Manchester NH and Mary McNamee of Somersworth. Census and marriage records indicate her father was born in Scotland and her mother in Canada. She was raised in the household of Loren and Ella (Plummer) Lasler/Casler. Kathryn was in the Casler household in Somersworth NH; in 1900 age 3, 1910 age 13, enumerated as Kathryn M. Read More	She was the daughter of James Williamson of Manchester NH and Mary McNamee of Somersworth. Census and marriage records indicate her father was born in Scotland and her mother in Canada. She was raised in the household of Loren and Ella (Plummer) Lasler/Casler. Kathryn was in the Casler household in Somersworth NH; in 1900 age 3, 1910 age 13, enumerated as Kathryn M. Williamson, boarder. Loren was born in NY and Ell in New Hampshire both around 1850. In this census both of Kathryn's parents were born in Scotland. Prior to her marriage Kathryn was living in Lawrence Massachusetts where she was employed as a stitcher in the binding industry. Kathryn married Leigh Philbrook Gardner, then of Orono Maine, previously of Dennysville, on July 22, 1922 in Somersworth, NH. They had children, Marjorie A., Ella Marie and Fred Loren. Her husband was a teacher and later a professor at the University of Maine in Orono. She died in Machias hospital a resident of Dennysville. Prior to living in Dennysville she was a resident of Orono and more recently of Augusta Maine. She was survived by her husband Leigh who died in 1970 in Augusta Maine and by her children, daughters Marjorie A. (Gardner) Richardson who died in 2001 in Nashua, New Hampshire and Ella Marie (Gardner) Waitt who died in 2011 in Bangor and one son Fred L. of Augusta and Dennysville who died in 2017. Her cemetery stone indicates she was born in Somersworth, NH and gives her name as Kathryn M. Casler.
