She was united in marriage to Sherman Wallace and to this union one daughter was born. Katie accepted Christ as her Savior in early life and united with the Christian Church at Nelson. Read More	The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE) Fri, Dec 26, 1930 - Pg 1 Katie Dosch, daughter of Mr and Mrs John Dosch, was born in Wisconsin, October 31, 1872. She was united in marriage to Sherman Wallace and to this union one daughter was born. Katie accepted Christ as her Savior in early life and united with the Christian Church at Nelson. In the spring of 1891 she was united in marriage to Sherman Wallace. One daughter Margaret May was born. On May 22, 1902 she married Andrew Shipley. Silently on Dec 21, 1930, the gate of the spirit world swung ajar to receive her immortal spirit, as she fell asleep peacefully in the arms of Jesus. Her husband, one daughter, two step daughters and five step sons will cherish forever in their hearts the blessings of his devoted Christian wife and mother. Her last months were ones of sufferings but never did a human soul meet such an ordeal more bravely then did she. She bore her sufferings with the fortitude of an angel never murmuring. Those who survive to mourn her loss are a husband, one daughter May Shipley; one sister, Annie Pippin; one brother, Philip Dosch of Blue River, Wisconsin; two step daughters, Opal Kinnison of Akron, Colo,. and Meda Kinnison of Angus, Nebr.; five step sons, Roy Shipley, Lem Shipley, Orien Shipley of Edgar, Claus Shipley of Oak and Glen Shipley of Fairbury, Nebr., besides a host of friends to mourn her loss, for all who knew her loved her. Funeral services were held from the Methodist Church here Tuesday afternoon. Rev T. S. Hughes and Rev S. G. Rasmusson were in charge. Rev Hughes preached the sermon.
