Description	:	OBITUARY STUTZMAN - KATIE, daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Jansi) Erb, was born at Topping, Ont. April 9 1870; died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe H. Kremer, April 23, 1953; aged 83y. 14d. At the age 0f 8 she moved with her parents to Nebraska where they settled on a farm southwest of Milford. In her youth she accepted Christ as her Saviour and united with the Mennonite Church, remaining faithful to the end. On March 2, 1890, she was united in Marriage to John H. Stutzman, who preceded her in death in 1930. She leaves to mourn her departure 7 children (Elmer, Weley, and Bert, Milford, Nebr.; Peter, Los Angeles, Calif.; Malinda-Mrs. J. J. Kremer, Ontario, Calif.; Ella-Mrs. J. H. Kremer, Milford, Nebr.; and Ida-Mrs. Sterling Stauffer, Beaver Crossing, Nebr.) 23 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, one brother (John, Geneva, Nebr.), and one step-sister (Lydia Reily, Crete, Nebr.). One son, (Lee), and 3 grandchildren preceded her in death. She was a kind and loving mother, much concerned for the welfare of her children and grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Milford, Nebr. A. M. Church, April 24, in charge of L. O. Schlegel, assisted by W. A. Eicher, with interment in the church cemetery. ___________________________________________________________
