Description	:	Keith A. Pfrimmer, 79, of 308 South Montana Street in Boone, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday morning, November 4, 2010. He was born on March 30, 1931 in Lucas, Iowa the son of George and Loy (Hall) Pfrimmer. On April 6, 1952, he married Margaret Miller at the Central Christian Church in Boone. Pfrimmer, 79, of 308 South Montana Street in Boone, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday morning, November 4, 2010. He was born on March 30, 1931 in Lucas, Iowa the son of George and Loy (Hall) Pfrimmer. On April 6, 1952, he married Margaret Miller at the Central Christian Church in Boone. Keith worked with an aeration company for 25 years and then owned his own aeration company. He enjoyed his Wednesday bus trips and spending time with his grandsons and great-granddaughters. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U.S. Navy. Keith was a member of the Masons Mt. Olive Lodge #79 AF&AM; BPO Elks #563; Boone County Fair Board; Boone County Civil Defense; the Memorial Gardens Cemetery Board; and was a life member of both the VFW #817 and American Legion Post #56. His parents; 3 brothers Fred, Gilbert and Dean; 4 sisters Helen, Norma, Myrna and Glennie preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife Margaret of Boone; a son Eugene Pfrimmer and Janet of Iowa Falls, Iowa; daughters Chardell Piklapp of Boone and Cindy Ninneman and husband Mike of Avoca, Iowa; grandsons Greg Piklapp and wife Staci of Boone, Garrett Piklapp and wife Tami of West Des Moines, Kasey Ninneman of Greeley, Colorado, Jamie Ninneman of Ames, Iowa; 2 great-granddaughters Madi and Kenzie Piklapp both of Boone; a brother Don Pfrimmer of Boone; a sister Dorothy Hubbard of Van Meter, Iowa; sister-in-laws Colleen Pfrimmer of Boone, Agnes Pfrimmer of Florida, Punk Neely and husband Bill of Boone, and Diane Kost and husband John of McAlpin, Florida; nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to greet friends. Following Keith's wishes, his body will be cremated following visitations with a private service to be held for the family at a later date. Interment will be in Boone Memorial Gardens in Boone. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express their sympathies through a memorial may direct their gift to the family, who will set up a memorial in Keith's name.
