Committal service at Ivy Hill Cemetery in Malcom, Pastor Wayne Sneller officiating. Allen was born on October 7, 1964, in Grinnell, the son of Keith Allen and Sherilee Rae McDonald Smith. Committal service at Ivy Hill Cemetery in Malcom, Pastor Wayne Sneller officiating. Allen was born on October 7, 1964, in Grinnell, the son of Keith Allen and Sherilee Rae McDonald Smith. He was raised in Malcom and was a 1983 graduate of BGM High School. While in high school, he was employed at Jerry's By-lo Food Store in Grinnell. In May of 1989, he was married to Danielle Nichol White. They were the parents of four children, Beau, Bailey, Brandon, and Brady. The couple later parted ways. Allen was employed in various construction companies, including Septagon Construction Company, Midwest Manufacturing in Kellogg, and Jeld-Wen Windows and Doors in Grinnell. Allen enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, including his trips to Canada, and trapping. He loved the Kansas City Chiefs and enjoyed watching the games with his sons. He also enjoyed NASCAR and boxing. Allen is survived by his four children, Beau (Jarrica Madoll) Smith of Newton, Bailey (Jason) Huyser of Sully, Brandon (Oriana Ross) Smith of Cedar Rapids, and Brady Smith of Newton; and one sister, Kurstin (Ron) Clark of Malcom.
