Keith Edward Edelen, son of Wallace and lulu Akery Edelen, was born August 29, 11924, in Grinnell, Iowa, and died Monday, October 25, 1993, in his home rural Grinnell, Iowa. Keith enjoyed helping others, his daily coffee stop at the Malcom Mini-Mart, and attended nearly every two-year reunion of his naval unit. Keith is survived by his wife, Evelyn; three sons and two daughters, Joseph (Becky) Edelen of Brooklyn, Therese (Danny) Anderson of Montezuma, Iowa, Diane (Nathan) Arens of Hartwick, Iowa, Donald (Susie) Edelen of Grinnell, Iowa, and Eugene ((Marie) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one sister, Kathleen Kester of Marshalltown, Iowa; one brother, Charles Edelen of Anchorage, Alaska; thirteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
