Description	:	Keith G. Moe, 72, rural Woonsocket died Thursday at the Sanford Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 6th at 10:30 AM at St. Wilfrid's Catholic Church in Woonsocket with Rev. Rhonda Wellsandt-Zell officiating. Burial will be in the Silver Creek Cemetery rural Woonsocket with military rites by the Woonsocket American Legion Post 29. Visitation will be Monday May 5th from 5-8 at the Bethany Lutheran Church Woonsocket, with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Keith was born to William and Irene (Jacobson) Moe on November 7th, 1941 in Huron, SD. He attended grade school for 6 years at Silver Creek Township Country School and completed his education graduating from Woonsocket High School in 1959. He continued his education at South Dakota State College in Brookings graduating with a degree in Ag-Business in 1963. After college Keith proudly served 2 years in the US Navy. After returning home he worked for 2 years at Production Credit Association and 2 years for Northwestern National Bank. He married Karen Eden on June 21, 1969 in Huron, SD. That fall they moved to the farm in Woonsocket where they raised their family. Keith worked as a rural mail carrier for the US Post Office in Woonsocket for 18 ½ years. His passion was his farm and family. He spent many hours and smiles enjoying a good conversation with friends and neighbors. He was a lifelong member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Woonsocket, SD. He is survived by his wife Karen Moe of Woonsocket, SD, 2 sons Kevin (Amber) Moe of Brookings, SD, and Kurt (Kari) Moe of Sioux Falls, SD and 6 grandchildren, Landon and Brody Moe, Kassie, Gavin, Avah and Hudson Moe; 1 sister Ila Anderson of Huron, SD; 2 sisters-in-law Mary Alice Moe of Woonsocket, SD and Jane Knutson of Long Lake, MN and many loving nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Wallace Moe, grandson Garrett Moe, niece Ilene Cooper, and brother-in-law Robert Eden.
