Description	:	Wallace Dean "Wally" Moe, 77, of Woonsocket, died Thursday, March 6, 2008, at Huron Regional Medical Center. The funeral will be Monday at Bethany Lutheran Church in Woonsocket, with the Rev. Rhonda Wellsandt-Zell officiating. Burial will be in Silver Creek Cemetery in Woonsocket. A prayer service will be Sunday at Basham Funeral Chapel in Woonsocket. Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Ashley Trudeau, Luke and Nate Tibbetts, Andrew Moe, and Brock and Jesse Ball. Wallace Dean Moe was born July 23, 1930, in Silver Creek Township, Sanborn County, to William T. and Irene (Jacobson) Moe. He attended Center School in Silver Creek through eighth grade, completing high school in Woonsocket. He graduated in 1948. He married Mary Alice Parsons April 17, 1950, and they lived on a farm near Woonsocket. Along with farming he did custom crop spraying and raised watermelons for retailers in several states. In 1967 they moved to De Smet, where he hauled feed for Peavy Alfa-Con. In 1971 they returned to Woonsocket and he began driving semi millions of miles hauling government surplus and steel buildings. He enjoyed going out for meals with his brother-in-law and friends, and the 1963 Chrysler Crown Imperial that he restored. He is survived by eight children, Micki Tibbetts of Sioux Falls, Sheri (Mark) Trudeau of Brookings, Leann (Chuck) Doran of Elk Point, Caryn Moe of Mitchell, Scott (Cheryl) Moe of Brandon, Roxanne (Dick) Peters of Tea, Tonya (Scott) Estabrook of Mount Vernon, and Jonathan Moe of Vermillion; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Ila Anderson of Huron; a brother, Keith (Karen) Moe of Woonsocket; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son-in-law, Fred Tibbetts. The Daily Republic March 11, 2008
