Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Delmar, Iowa, at a later date. Keith House was born on August 7, 1935 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Zeno H. and Bertha E. (Taylor) House. He was a 1954 graduate of Maquoketa High School and then attended a Technical College in Chicago, Illinois until 1956, while also working for Harrington Refrigeration in Maquoketa. He married Sandra Ann Haylock on January 27, 1956 in Maquoketa, Iowa. After his marriage, Keith continued to work for Harrington Refrigeration until 1959 when he took at job in the service department at Montgomery Ward's, first in Clinton and then in Davenport. He did this until 1970 when he became self-employed and owned House Refrigeration in Maquoketa until 1979. From 1979 to 1981, he worked as an Ice Engineer for Holiday on Ice. He then traveled for 15 years (mainly winters) via a motor home in the southern states and started his own Antique Jewelry website and internet business operating this until present. In his younger years Keith had been active in the Episcopal Church in Maquoketa, serving as a warden and youth group counselor. He also had a passion for bowling, pool, deer hunting with bow and arrow, camping, gun and old coin collecting, and fishing, especially for catfish and panfish. Keith is survived by his wife, Sandra Ann House of Maquoketa, IA; daughters, Nancy (Thomas) Highly of Moline, IL, and Louanne Clark of Maquoketa, IA; 6 grandchildren, Amber Highly, Brett Highly, Eric (Maryann) Taylor, Lynn Taylor, Casey (Sarah) Taylor and Kyle Clark; 7 great-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Zellus (Arla) House of Maquoketa, IA; and a sister, Marilyn (Harlan) Wilslef of Preston, IA.
