Description	:	Keith L. Bentley, 89, of Miller, died Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Colonial Villa Good Samaritan Center in Alma, Nebraska. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the United Church of Sumner east campus with Pastor Ken Hutson officiating. Burial will be at the Armada Cemetery at Miller, Nebraska. Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services in Kearney is in charge of arrangements. Keith was born May 17, 1925 on the family farm north of Miller, Nebraska to Hadsel and Inez (Day) Bentley. He graduated from Miller High School. Keith married Alta Becker on October 11, 1946 in Norton, Kansas. They farmed, ranched, and raised a family north of Miller. Keith was a member and served as a deacon for many years at the Elm Creek Christian Church. He was a charter member of the Miller Lions Club, the Diamond Willow 4-H Club, and belonged to several cattlemen's associations. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, traveling with his wife, and spending a day at the sale barn. Keith is survived by his wife Alta Bentley of Miller, NE, daughters: Kathy Moomey and her husband Rick of Sumner, NE, Janna Pierce and her husband Dick of Miller, NE, son David Bentley and his wife Maris of Omaha, NE, sister Arlys Kleckner and her husband Richard of Miller, NE, 11 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. Keith is preceded in death by one grandson Joshua Pierce, one great grandson Paul Smith, and two Brothers Clarence and Les.
