Description	:	Kenneth Bruce Thurber, son of Kenneth N. and Bonnie Thurber, was born December 14, 1960 at Escanaba, Mich., and died October 18, 1966 at the Republic Co. Hospital in Belleville, Kans., at the age of 5 years, 10 months, and 4 days. The family moved to Lansing, Mich., when he was about one year old, where he had lived until coming to Chester only about two weeks ago. Kenneth's health had been poorly most of his short lifetime. Survivors include his parents; three sisters, Marla, Vicki and Bonnie; two brothers, Russell and Randolph; grandparents, W.A. Stierwalt of Chester, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Thurber of Perronville, Mich.; great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Stierwalt of Hubbell, Roy Thurber of Portland, Mich., J.V. Fisher of Williamston, Mich.; as well as a large number of uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral services were held at the Chester Methodist Church Friday, Oct. 21, at two o'clock with the Rev. Marlon Loftis officiating. Mrs. Max Larkins sang, accompanied by Mrs. Dolan Frye. Pallbearers were J.F. Gausman, Harley Howell, Robert Barnes, Grant Duey. Interment was in the Chester Cemetery, Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Funeral Service in charge.
