Description	:	Kenneth C. Reynolds, 86, of 402 S. Ward St., died June 20, 2008 at his home. He was born May 10, 1922 in Ottumwa to Alfred and Molly Yeager Reynolds. He married Llylynn Figge Oct. 19, 1941. They later divorced. He married Ruth Mary Bottorff March 15, 1960. She preceded him in death April 12, 1989. Kenneth was a resident of Ottumwa until 1962 when he moved to Des Moines. He moved to Overland Park, Kan., in 1968, then to Davenport in 1975 and to Florida in 1976, returning to Ottumwa in 1985. He married Llylynn Figge Oct. 19, 1941. They later divorced. He married Ruth Mary Bottorff March 15, 1960. She preceded him in death April 12, 1989. Kenneth was a resident of Ottumwa until 1962 when he moved to Des Moines. He moved to Overland Park, Kan., in 1968, then to Davenport in 1975 and to Florida in 1976, returning to Ottumwa in 1985. Having served in the U.S. Air Force from Dec. 4, 1942 until Nov. 20, 1945, he worked for McGregor Furniture in Ottumwa for 13 years and for Frigidaire Sales Corp. out of Dayton, Ohio for 17 years, retiring in 1977.He was a member of the American Legion for 62 years and Past Commander in 1956 of O.B. Nelson Post No. 3 American Legion. He was 5th District Commander of Iowa in 1959 and Vice Commander of Iowa in 1962. Surviving is a daughter, Marilyn (Kendall) Dodds of Des Moines; two sons, Max (Carol) Reynolds of Strawberry Point and Ron (Marcia) Reynolds of Ottumwa; two stepsons, Pat (Betty) Cameron of Agency and Dave Cameron of Henderson, Nev.; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a stepson, John Cameron; a brother, Charley Reynolds; and two sisters, Marie Holman and Velma Carter. Graveside services and burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Gary Sneller officiating. Military services will be conducted by O.B. Nelson Post No. 3 American Legion and Walter B. Schafer Post No. 775 Veterans of Foreign Wars.
