(Robert) Garver, Sarah (Scott) Strayer-Dickerson, all Lima; and seven great-grandchildren: Molly and Greta Augsburger, Taylor, Tanner and Tucker Garver, Bailey Bullock and Kadelynn Elliot. Deceased are a granddaughter, Leanne R. Wilson; and a great-grandson, William Alan Wilson. He was a plumber and pipefitter, Local 776. He retired in 1990 after 25 years of service. He also was in business with his father for several years at Strayer Plumbing and Heating. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He served for three years, stationed in Germany. He was a past president and member of the Lions Club, Elida chapter and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275 in Lima. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. His favorite partner was his wife. An avid Reds fan, he often watched them on Fox Sports Ohio. He was also a member of the Liars' Table at Jim's Restaurant. Graveside services will be held.
