Description	:	Kenneth E. Perkins was born April 21, 1904, at Fairmont, Neb., to Chester E. and Stella White Perkins. He grew up on the family farm northwest of Fairmont. He passed away suddenly at his home on October 15, 1975, at the age of 71 years, five months and 24 days. He married Erma L. Keil on January 26, 1927. Read More	Kenneth E. Perkins was born April 21, 1904, at Fairmont, Neb., to Chester E. and Stella White Perkins. He grew up on the family farm northwest of Fairmont. He passed away suddenly at his home on October 15, 1975, at the age of 71 years, five months and 24 days. He married Erma L. Keil on January 26, 1927. They were the parents of two daughters, Beverly and Dianne. They made their home on a farm northeast of Fairmont, until they moved to their home in Fairmont in 1969. Kenneth was a member of the Fairmont Community Church and the I.O.O.F. Lodge. He was a kind and loving husband and father and loved his grandchildren dearly. He enjoyed life and was a friend to all. Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, Mildred. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Erma; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Swanson of Lincoln and Mr. and Mrs. Monty Hanson of Exeter; six grandchildren, Kenneth, Patricia and Lori Swanson, Mrs. Cynthia Sipp, JoDeen and Mark Hanson; one great-grandchild, Jennifer Swanson; four brotherse, Norris and Virgil of Corvallis, Ore., Gen of Molalla, Ore., and Cecil of Exeter; one sister, Ruth Kauffman of Corvallis, Ore.; many other relatives and friends. Services were held at Fairmont Community Church on October 18, 1975, with the Rev. Jay Schmidt officiating. Organist was Nancy Jo Galusha, vocalist were Mr. and Mrs. Roland Hall. The pallbearers were Willard Hulse, Clyde Jacobsen, Peter Lovegrove, Francis McMahon Sr., Everett Nichols and W. J. Robbins. Burial was in the Fairmont Cemetery.
