Mr. Dible died at 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 in The Hearth at Stones Crossing in Greenwood, IN. He was born December 28, 1911 in Seneca County to the late Lawrence and Julia (Shober) Dible. He married Adora Jane Hunter June 8, 1933 in Greenup, KY and she preceded him in death on March 24, 2000. Surviving are a son, Everett Dible of Greenwood, IN, and a daughter, Elaine Metzler of Bargersville, IN, two grandchildren, Brenda Collet of Greenwood, IN, and Douglas Lee of Findlay, six great-grandchildren, and a brother, Mervin Dible of Bucyrus. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Bentz and Kathryn (Smiley) Ferguson, and four brothers, Paul, Frederick, Albert (Pete), and Gerald Dible. Kenneth was a 1931 graduate of Vanlue High School where he played on the championship football team of 1930 and was the Class President. He was a farmer most of his life and retired in 1976 from the Ohio Department of Transportation after several years of employment. Previously he had worked for the Farmers Co-Op serving as assistant manager and manager. At the age of 96 he still enjoyed bowling and playing pool. Prior to moving to Indiana in 2004, he was an active member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Carey since 1950.
