Wach was born Sept 14, 1926 in Sutton to Herbert and Alma (George) Wach. He was baptized in the Hope Reformed Church and confirmed in the Evangelical Reformed Church in Sutton. He received his education in Sutton and graduated from Sutton High School in 1944. He was employed with Schmidt Brothers Grocery Store in Sutton from the early age of 10 thru high school. On Nov 4, 1945, he married Talitha Griess. He owned and operated a small business and gas station with his father from 1946 until 1954. In 1955, he graduated with top honors from the Nebraska School of Barbering in Omaha. He owned and operated his own barber shop in Sutton for 45 years. He attended the Berean Bible Church in Hastings and was a past member of the Sutton volunteer Fire Department and the Sutton Commercial Club. He is survived by his wife, Talitha of Sutton; son, Stewart Wach of Aurora; sister, Ruth Friesen of Henderson; brother Lawrence Wach of Georgia; and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
