Description	:	Kenneth Harlan Trowbridge, 86, of Cheyenne died Dec. 22 at the Davis Hospice Center. He was born June 3, 1924, in Herrick, S.D., the son of John and Florence (Glasgow) Trowbridge. Mr. Trowbridge was a graduate of Herrick High School. He was a sailor in the U.S. Navy and served in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He married June Lillian Wolfe on Sept. 11, 1946, living in South Dakota until 1963, when they moved to Sierra Vista, Ariz. They moved with their six children to Cheyenne in 1965. He was born June 3, 1924, in Herrick, S.D., the son of John and Florence (Glasgow) Trowbridge. Mr. Trowbridge was a graduate of Herrick High School. He was a sailor in the U.S. Navy and served in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He married June Lillian Wolfe on Sept. 11, 1946, living in South Dakota until 1963, when they moved to Sierra Vista, Ariz. They moved with their six children to Cheyenne in 1965. He retired as Property Disposal Officer for Frances E. Warren Air Force Base in 1977 and moved to Carpenter, where they lived for 28 years. He enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, sports and auctions. He is survived by his wife, June; sons, Kenneth Trowbridge, Gerald Trowbridge and Ronald Trowbridge, all of Cheyenne and Curt Trowbridge of Boone, Iowa; daughters, Linda Ross of Buhl, Minn., and Shirley Glinsek, of Ely, Minn.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and four half-brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Schrader Chapel with Bishop Justin Ross officiating. The family has requested that there be no flowers, please.
