Description	:	Kenneth L. Barentson, the son of Neal and Minnie Jensen Barentson, was born April 6, 1916 at Audubon, and died January 15, 1983 at Modesto, California at the age of 66 years. He attended the Audubon Schools and the Presbyterian Sunday School. For many years he worked for the Audubon Produce Co. He also worked as Deputy Sheriff and Fire Chief in Audubon. Barentson, the son of Neal and Minnie Jensen Barentson, was born April 6, 1916 at Audubon, and died January 15, 1983 at Modesto, California at the age of 66 years. He attended the Audubon Schools and the Presbyterian Sunday School. For many years he worked for the Audubon Produce Co. He also worked as Deputy Sheriff and Fire Chief in Audubon. On November 16, 1939, he married Cecil Blohm in the Little Brown Church at Nashua. He became a member of the Audubon United Methodist Church. They lived in the Audubon area until 1964 when they moved to Manteca, Cal., where he has been a government egg inspector to the present time. Two daughters, Roseann and Cynthia were born to this union. Cecil died on February 14, [17]1975. Kenneth continued to live in Manteca and on June 29, 1981, he married Ollie Donigon. Preceding him in death in addition to his first wife, were his parents; three sisters: Gertrude Jorgensen, Doris Rubel, and Vera Reymer; and one brother, Martin Barentson. Survivors include his wife Ollie; his two daughters: Roseann Barentson of Englewood, Colo., and Mrs. David (Cynthia) Fenstermacher of Manteca, Cal.; his grandson, Duane Fenstermacher; one step-son, Donald Donigon; three sisters: Beatrice Jones of Creston; Veda Daeges of Carroll; Minona McLeran of Audubon and 1 brother, Neal Barentson of Colusa, California; his brothers and sisters-in-law: Leonard Blohm of Kremmling, Colorado; Mrs. Art (Arlene) Christensen of Audubon, and Mrs. H.E. (Bernice) Farnum of Aurora, Colorado; Hans H. Jorgensen of Audubon; Jean Barentson of Omaha, Nebraska and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Warren McFate on January 21, 1983 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Audubon. Internment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon. The casket bearers are: Art Christensen, Jack Coates, Bud Farnum, Frank Jorgensen, James Jorgensen, and Cameron Ross.
