Description	:	Cecil Lillian Barentson, the daughter of William and Anna Mathisen Blohm, was born Nov. 3, 1919 in Audubon and died Feb 17 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Stockton, Calif., at the age of 55 years. [Cecil had been a patient 10 days suffering influenza and complications]. She attended the Audubon schools and Cosmetology school in Des Moines, was a beautician for a few years, and was a secretary at the ASCS office in Audubon for a number of years. In 1963 they moved to California where Cecil managed an apartment house and a Store-All facility. She was a member of St.Paul's Federated church in Manteca, Calif. She was preceded in death by her father, William Blohm, in 1968. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth, Manteca, Calif.; 2 daughters: Rosann Baarentson, Inglewood, Colo., and Cynthia Barentson, Manteca, Calif., her mother, Anna Blohm, Audubon; one brother, Leonard Blohm, Prescott, Ariz,; 2 sisters: Mrs. Art (Arlene) Christensen, Audubon, and Mrs. H.E. Farnham, Zwiebachen, Germany. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Vernon M. Sorensen on Friday, Feb 21 in the Audubon United Methodist Church. Internment was in the Maple Grove cemetery.
