Description	:	PRESQUE ISLE – Kenneth Miles Gilmour Jr., 80, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009, at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born Dec. 18, 1928, in Presque Isle, the son of Kenneth and Ferne (Carter) Gilmour Sr. Ken was a professional truck driver for Sanborn/APA for 25 years before retiring in 1991. He drove millions of safe driving miles without any accidents and was recognized many times for his driving achievements during his career. He was born Dec. 18, 1928, in Presque Isle, the son of Kenneth and Ferne (Carter) Gilmour Sr. Ken was a professional truck driver for Sanborn/APA for 25 years before retiring in 1991. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Christine (Bates) Gilmour of Presque Isle; two sons, Kerry and his wife, Colleen, of Sabattus and Kevin and his wife, Heather, of Presque Isle; a daughter, Sharon Saucier and her husband, Neil, of Presque Isle; six grandchildren, Tyler Gilmour of Sabattus, Bradley Gilmour of Orlando, Fla., Michelle Bragdon of South Paris, Shannon Lyford of Presque Isle and Kamryn and Karlyn Gilmour, both of Presque Isle; four great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be missed by all his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Ken was predeceased by two sisters, Ruth Murphy and June Staton.
