Read More	Veteran WWII SGT. KENNETH STUBSTEN MILLER – Funeral services were held at the Reck Funeral Home here Friday for Sgt. Kenneth Stubsten, who died Sept. 20 at Elgin Field, Fla. The Rev. Arthur Hornish of the Lutheran Church had charge of services. Sgt. Stubsten, oldest son of Ella and Olag Stubsten, was born March 23, 1920, at Lennox. As a small child he came with his parents of Hand County. He graduated from Miller High School in 1938. He spent two years in California and then enlisted in the Air Force in November of 1941. He received the Purple Heart for wounds while with the 16th Combat Camera Unit at Kumming, China. He returned to the States and was hospitalized in Utah. There on January 19, 1946, he married Norma Thompson of Long Beach, Calif. He was transferred to Elgin Field, Fla., where he and his family have lived there for some time. Survivors include his wife and daughter, Deborah; his parents; three sisters and three brothers.
