Description	:	Kerwin Wilson Strasser was born on a farm near Davis, SD on Mar. 18, 1939, the son of William and Catherine (Nuttbrock) Strasser. He graduated from Lennox High School in 1957 and then received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Dubuque. Later he received a Masters Degree in Mathematics from the University of SD. On Jun. 5, 1962 he was united in marriage to Rhoda deNeui at Wellsburg, IA. Later he received a Masters Degree in Mathematics from the University of SD. On Jun. 5, 1962 he was united in marriage to Rhoda deNeui at Wellsburg, IA. They lived in Postville, IA from 1962 to 1963, and in Rochester, MN from 1963 to 1976 where he was a Junior High mathematics instructor. In 1976 they moved to their farm southwest of Lennox. He taught mathematics at Edison Junior High in Sioux Falls from 1976 to 1991. From 1991 to the present he was mathematics instructor at Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls. In addition to teaching, Kerwin also enjoyed working on the farm. He was preceded in death by his father on Jun. 13, 1968. Kerwin died suddenly shortly after arrival at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1992, the result of a heart attack. He attained the age of 53 years, eight months and 12 days. Grateful for having shared his life are his widow, Rhoda; twin sons: Bryce R. Strasser of Lennox and Brent R. Strasser of Sioux Falls; his daughter, Karna Strasser of Paris, TX; his mother Catherine Strasser of Lennox; three brothers and their wives: Wendell and Karen Strasser of Lennox, Roger and Deb Strasser of Sioux Falls, and David and Gail Strasser of Lennox; one sister, Myrna Strasser of East Moline, IL; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Emma deNeui of Wellsburg, IA.; plus his nieces and nephews.
