She was born May 2, 1943 in Richmond, IN, a daughter of the late Donald Dean and Odetta Marcelle (Alread) Beeson. She grew up in Hagerstown, IN, and graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1961. She had lived at Tri-Lakes for 20 years before moving to South Whitley, where she had resided for the past 12 years. Dianne Ranes, 76, of South Whitley, died at 9:50 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2020 at her home in the company of family. She was born May 2, 1943 in Richmond, IN, a daughter of the late Donald Dean and Odetta Marcelle (Alread) Beeson. She grew up in Hagerstown, IN, and graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1961. She had lived at Tri-Lakes for 20 years before moving to South Whitley, where she had resided for the past 12 years. In addition to being a homemaker, raising five children, she worked for Whetstone Electric, Columbia City, and later Grabill Painting and Drywall for over ten years in the office. She enjoyed regular walks and reading her favorite books. During the summer months, she raised tomatoes and tended her flowers throughout the house. She always liked time with her grandkids and assembling jigsaw puzzles. She was fond of her cats and leaves behind Prince and Shorty. She is survived by her children, Rebecca L (Gary) Oden, North Manchester, David M. (Michelle) Haisley, Orland, Julie D. (Shawn) Anderson, South Whitley, and Andrew J. (Dana) Haisley, Columbia City; her former husband and current companion, Curtis D. Ranes, South Whitley; a brother, Steven Beeson, Hagerstown; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Additionally, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher L. Haisley. Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley.
